Paddington Reservoir

Sydney’s Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Paddington Reservoir Gardens is a bold blend of old and new. It underwent an award-winning design transformation in 2009 resulting in a stunning sunken garden. This heritage-listed site maintains much of the reservoir’s original structure, framing boardwalks, lawns, shaded side chambers, and central pools. It’s set over two levels, with a grassy rooftop area above and sun-drenched courtyard below. The hit of nature teamed with original brick arches and salvaged timber and iron fixtures makes for an outstanding place to wedding photography.
