Things to remember when booking a wedding photographer

  1. Make sure you meet the photographer who will be shooting your wedding. We find that the most beautiful, natural moments are captured when couples feel at ease with their photographer and their true personality and fun of the day can shine through.

  2. Ensure you see the portfolio of the photographer who will be shooting your day. While many studios have a particular ‘style’ of photography, each photographer is different, so it’s important to get a taste of their personal style before making a commitment.

  3. Ask whether or not your photographer is AIPP accredited. It’s a good way to judge if your photographer is well regarded in the industry and engages in ongoing education.

  4. Your album should reflect your tastes. At MM PHOTOS you select the photos that go into your album, which make your album uniquely you.

  5. Many of our couples consider their albums to be family heirlooms, so it’s important to enquire about the longevity of the album you’re purchasing.

  6. Always factor into your budget the cost of purchasing extra sides in your album.
