Terms & Conditions for your Family Portrait Session

Here are our terms and conditions (T&Cs). They’re fair and reasonable because that’s the way we like to operate.

The T&Cs will show you that we are a family portrait studio.

Most importantly, with respect to our photography sessions, this means that all family members (parents and children) must attend, in order for any offer or gift voucher to be valid. (What would a family shoot be if one of your family members was missing? Incomplete!)

This also means that both parents (if applicable) must attend the ordering appointment which follows the photography session, in order for any offer or gift voucher to be valid.

1. Any offers or specials are for entire family group portrait session. Please note: All images and products included in the offer must also be ordered from the same portrait session.

1.2. You cannot use a gift card or voucher for a standalone maternity shoot. A standalone maternity shoot incurs our regular Shoot Fee of $250. You may use your gift card or voucher for a maternity shoot if you ALSO commit to a newborn shoot. All images taken at the maternity shoot will be shown to you after your newborn shoot.

2. A $100.00 holding deposit fee is required to secure your booking in our diary. In order to credit your $100 holding deposit fee towards full-priced items purchased from us, both parents must attend the ordering appointment. If only one parent attends the ordering appointment, and no photos are purchased from us, the $100 holding deposit fee will not be refunded. If you do not purchase any items, we will refund the holding deposit fee. The holding deposit is not refunded if you give us less than 72 hours’ notice that you would like to reschedule or cancel your appointment. The holding deposit fee covers the lost opportunity for us, and your photographer’s time. Booking fees are non-transferable.

3. Any photo session must be booked prior to expiry date of your voucher or gift card.

4. Should you reschedule your shoot more than 2 times MM PHOTOS reserves the right to cancel your shoot and return your booking fee or voucher amount purchased.

5. All ordered images are permanently backed up and stored on our servers and online storage facilities. Other images will be removed 3 months after the collection of your artwork.

6. In order to redeem your voucher or gift card, your ordering appointment is to be completed within two weeks of your photography session.

7. Only one MM PHOTOS voucher or gift card may be used per family, per photo shoot. Only one voucher or gift card may be used per family, per year. The gift cards and vouchers are non transferable and are not able to be regifted.

8. Any offer may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or voucher or gift card and no offer or gift card is redeemable for cash or any other goods and may only be used as described at the voucher/gift card terms and conditions. The offer is transferable at MM PHOTOS’ discretion.

9. Any offer, voucher or gift card cannot be used to purchase products from a previous portrait session.

10. Digital files included in MM PHOTOS specials, will contain all purchased images at high resolution, as per your order. Any image gifted to you, won, or received by voucher, is in print form only and does not include the image in digital form.

11. All vouchers or gift cards for family & newborn photo sessions cannot be used for commercial use.

12. MM PHOTOS reserves the right to refuse service at any time.

13. You must review your ordering appointment details with your photographer or a MM PHOTOS consultant 1-3 days prior to your photography session or your session will be cancelled. Please let the team know your most suitable time/date.

14. MM PHOTOS respects your privacy and personal information and is not shared with any third party or other organisations.

15. We only include one ordering session per shoot. Additional ordering sessions are available at $100.00 per viewing.

16. If you arrive for your shoot more than 30 minutes late for a week day newborn photography session, we will not be able to complete the viewing session on the same day. If your are more than 60 minutes late to your session, we reserve the right to cancel the photography session.
